HS2 Enabling Works – Meet the Buyer

Recently Dave Coleman, JOP Ltd General Manager,  attended a HS2 Enabling Works “Meet The Buyer” event on February 3rd at the NEC, Birmingham.

The event was facilitated by the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) of which JOP Ltd are long standing members.

The seven teams on contention for the High Speed 2 Enabling works are:

•Laing O’Rourke/Murphy Group JV

South Hook LNG – Construction of Car Park Upgrade

JOP Limited have recently completed a civil engineering project to upgrade  the existing Car Parking facilities for our valued client South Hook LNG Terminal. The project required traffic management, excavation, laying drainage, installing new lighting, paving, kerbs, tarmac and white lining. JOP Limited performed the role of CDM Principal Contractor on this project which was completed on time and with zero health, safety or environmental incidents or accidents.

Buncefield – Capping Layer

JOP Ltd have recently completed works to remediate, cut & fill and install an impervious capping layer over an area of 25,000 m2 for BPA in Buncefield Terminal, Hemel Hempstead. The work also involved the refurbishment of an existing lagoon and construction of a new pumping station. This project was completed with an excellent safety record of over 10,000 man hours without accident or injury.
